Yes, I must be old school as after testing the ATI Fiberforce RUG3000 on my Ruger 10/22, I find I like the factory wood stock better. I'm not slamming the Fiberforce stock at all and I do like the pistol grip, but for me - a guy that was raised on wood stock rifles I just prefer a wood stock, (even though I carried an M16 for Uncle Sam years ago).
[side note]
I do like the synthetic stock on my Savage MKII FVT, but I think that is because I have the bull barrel weight to go with it which makes a difference for me as I prefer a heavier rifle.
I'll hang onto the Fiberforce RUG3000 stock as my son really likes his so this will give us a spare if ever needed.
Anyone else partial to the wood stocks?
I'm off work tomorrow so I'm hopeful I'll get out to the Range and get my SH Short Range Matches shot before it rains.
