I need a new stock for my 17HMR

We all know that the tupperware stocks on Savages SUCK.

The rifle is for hunting so a Boyds tacticool is out the question.

Does anyone have their rimfire hunter stock? And I would want to be able to bed the action.

McMillan will inlet their HTG for a Savage 93 action, but that's a $500 stock...

Savage sells wood stocks for all it's rifles.
Price is less than one of the aftermarket big names.
Maybe one of the sporter or thumbhole versions?
Check the website for similar actioned rifles to see what's available.

Then call customer service, make sure you have your rifle's serial number handy.

I think Boyds does all of their wood stocks anyway.

I second that, I tried a tacticool on my .17 and it was great on the range but ruined the feel of the rifle in the field.
