Good morning.
I'm taking a precision rifle class next month. The rifle I'm using is a Remington 700 heavy bbl with their standard stock in .308 Win.
What I'd like help with, I need something (not sure what it's called) that I can hold on to the rear of the stock with my support side hand and still be able to attach a rifle sling to it.
The stud post which supports the sling is not enough by itself. With the sling attached to it, it works but it has it's short comings.
Is their such an item that I'm looking for? Where could I find it if it exists. I can't afford to replace the stock at this time.
