I need some measurements...length of fore-end on KRG Bravo and MDT Field Stock

Morning all,

I just picked up a lightly used Remington 700 .223 with 16.5" barrel for cheap...and even cheaper after the 25% off I got at Cabela's yesterday! Of course, I'm ditching the Hogue oversold stock and putting it in something a bit dressier. This will be used almost exclusively for range use and steel.

I've narrowed my search down to the KRG Bravo and the MDT Field Stock. I'm trying to figure out which one has the shorter fore-end given the stubbiness of the barrel. Can anyone who owns these give me a measurement from the front edge of the recoil lug to the tip of the stock? So far, my exhaustive internet sleuthing suggests the KRG is the shorter of the two but I can't find actual specs anywhere to prove that.

Thanks and Merry Christmas.

I get roughly 9.125" from the front edge of my Solus action to the tip of my Bravo chassis. Running an 18" barrel and a spigot on mine, still get about 3.5" of barrel past the spigot out front.

Bravo will be fine. I think they're one of the shortest forends because they really expect you to put a spigot on the end (which all mine ended up with).
