I Tac-tarded My 10/22 (sort of)

I ordered a stock, barrel, and some other items to jazz up my 10/22 a bit a few months ago, and I was finally able to get the thing pieced together today, and this was literally the easiest gun project I've done. Thus far I am very pleased with the results:

2004 Ruger 10/22
Power Custom Sear and Hammer
Auto Bolt Release mod
16" ER Shaw barrel (threaded)
Magpul X-22 Hunter stock
DNZ Reaper Mount/Ring combo
Bushnell Banner 4-12x40 AO (made in Japan)

Initial impressions are very favorable. The Magpul X-22 feels great in the hand, and the cheekpiece is at an excellent height for the optic. Additionally it balances just ahead of the magazine.

No range report yet, hopefully after Christmas. My only planned addition at this point is a thread protector, but I do eventually want to get a .22 LR can.

I would at least stuff an ar flash hider on it for cheap protection of that barrel.
My shaw likes wolf match and green tag cci.
I keep a flash hider on it when not using the can does not seem to effect accuracy.

I am going to put the custom thread protector I have to match the .920 barrel back on it.
Accuracy did not seem to suffer but POI probably shifted.
I had not took the time to "clock" the flash suppressor just stuffed it on, lazy!
It has shown up in "bounce" after the shot, annoying!
The magpull stock? Support a .920 barrel properly?

You shouldn't see a poi shift with just a thread protector.

Hunter x22 stock is awesome. I have one on a similar built 10/22 and LOVE it. Damn thing weighs a ton with the bull barrel and a 4-12 vortex diamondback
