Rifle Scopes Im Lost

Alright Just Getting Into Semi Long Range Shooting and need some help on how to adjust my scope Ive got it zeroed at 100yds my target is at 500yds my gun drops -52.48 at 500yds and my scope adjust in .25 MOA clicks how do i caculate how many clicks?

One MOA at 100 yards is approximately 1 inch so one MOA at 500 yards is approximately 5 inches. So if you dial up 10 MOA that's gonna bring you up about 50 inches at 500 yards. I would suggest you dial up 10 MOA and see where that puts you to see if you need to make any final adjustments. Also check out JBM ballistics. Their ballistic calculator has been pretty spot on for me.

Run the data on JBM Ballistics or another ballistic calculator and have it give you the data in MOA. Then dial on that MOA.

Don't count clicks. If it's 11 MOA then dial to the 11 on the dial. Don't count 44 clicks.
