Used it at a couple matches and it's much easier to use than the straps that come with the bag. Easy on and off and adjustments.

Having the bag attached to your rifle allows you that free hand to get in position, make that reload, or do something other than moving that bag.

Also having it attached to the rifle, allows me to build a faster position and stop the bag from sliding out from under your rifle when you have a bad or awkward position.
