It all started watching those great training videos here. I spotted my next knife and proceeded to find out what the heck it was. I was informed the knife was a strider and I did my research. I liked what I saw but have held out a long time before buying one. I finally bit the bullet and picked up a nice new one. the blade needed to be sharpended so I took it to a local who i was told could make a butter knife sharp as a razor. I got the knife back and I swear it was even duller and the guy said it took him over an hour to sharpen it. He also jacked it up a little, I was not happy at all so proceeded to find out how to get it sharpened by Strider. I found the info , sent it in and just got it back a little over a month later. Looks like they replaced the whole blade. Now that is customer service!

PS... I was using a SOG in the mean time and boy have I missed my strider!

Strider knives are awesome. My platoon was given a private gift of custom MT-10's. All the standard engraving was sandblasted off and "8541" was stamped onto the hilt. We treated these blades with a great amount of negligence and as the tools they are meant to be. The MT-10 is a pretty good throwing knife also.
This will be a knife I pass down to one of my kids.

I carried a BT-10 and abused the hell out of that knife and it never let me down. I cut down trees for hide sights I did everything to that knife. I even pried doors open by kicking it in door jams and kicking the side of it and it took all the abuse I could give it.

Been to their shop, nice people, made my knife for me and asked me this and that about options. Best Strider I have owned. It replaced an NSN SMF, no other folder compares to the SMF.
