Improving trigger in .22LR Savage MkII?

What is the best way ti improve the trigger in a .22 Savage MkII? I bought the gun as a cheap truck gun. It is non accu trigger.

Are rifle basix sears good?

You can cut an 06 case for a brass shim under the rear trigger bolt. Shim as needed
until you are happy with it.
