Both chihuahuas I have had are lucky to break skin if they did bite. I think that's what pisses me off more than anything about the whole thing.

We've got one here that will be 12 on March 1st. It's My Lady's little baby. She doesn't get all stupid regarding the dog, the way typical/media-broads do, but she DOES get protective about it. Thing weighs 3 1/4 lbs. Just a touch bigger than an amoeba.

The deputy was fired, the homeowner COULD have prevented it by controlling his dog and talking to the deputy (we don't know why he was there, maybe an aggressive dog call?). That doesn't excuse the deputies actions, but then again, you can't see on the video what the dog was doing.
Maybe the dog was biting the deputy? Not an uncommon thing with mexican rats.
The world would be a better place without chihuahua's.

Tx hpd pulled me over this weekend, first time in about 20 years.
I was going 50 in a 45 zone, by accident, hill, speed change sign, officer, you know the drill.

Had my sidearm in holster, was wondering wtf? Did he snag me for?
Was on my best behavior and pleased to see a senior officer show up.
Everything went smooth, declared my weapon, ltc, asked for instuction to procede.

The officer was cool and calm, smiled and gave me a written warning.
He never flinched or became upset over my firearm, calmly told me to procede with
License retrival etc.

Where do we get more officers like that?

i deal with going to people’s houses on a daily basis. sometimes i deal with aggressive dogs. funny thing is, with that sensitive nose they have, a non-lethal spray works wonders on them.

now with a large dog chasing people or other dogs....i have zero issue with them being shot. if you have an aggresive dog, you damn well better be in control of it.

a cop shooting a tiny dog? how stupid. pepper spray works great.....meet a non lethal threat with a non lethal threat.

I go to peoples homes everyday also. My experience is that the small breeds are the most aggressive dogs. People let them be that way. If my pit bull was charging and snapping at people like that, it would be confiscated and euthanized with out a second thought.
