Very hard for me to read that....

I have always wanted to be a game warden, and I think most people give them very little respect. We used to have some land up in Arkansas, of which a GW friend of ours hunted on. I remember a story of his whereby he busted a kid with some pot...went back to his truck and the kid shot himself. He told us that he got lucky that day...as the kid could've shot him. One thing about Game Wardens is that they pretty much know as they're approaching folks in the woods, that the other guy is "armed"...even if for sporting purposes.

My thoughts are with his family...he didn't deserve this.

All over a damn deer. I don't know about Pa but here in NC the penalty is far from severe. You lose you license priveleges (like that matters to this type) and pay a fine....only gets worse if you are a repeat offender. Dangerous job...everybody you come in contact with is gnerally armed. Prayers to the family...capital punishment wishes for the perp.

Wow. I appreciate you sharing this, TP. These guys are way under-appreciated. Most of these guys are straight-shooting, hard-working, patriots.
