We held our first "official" PRS Rimfire match at the Quantico Shooting Club yesterday and it was great! Well attended, smoothly run and positive comments from the competitors. We had a test match in January to work out the kinks and get some better thoughts on stages and pace of the match that we put into practice today. The shooters were loving the conditions when they signed in, cold, but calm, but we told them, wait until 9am, that's when the wind comes up. Sure enough, we had changing winds and sudden gusts that certainly added to the challenge of a course with 8 stages and targets out to 236y. Thanks to all who came out to compete and to MARS for providing a discount Vortex certificate in our random shooter drawing. We will be adding PRS Rimfire to our monthly matches to complement PRS Centerfire, USPSA, Steel Challenge and our other matches such as EIC, GSM and Vintage Sniper.
