I didn't feel like playing around with little springs so I just bought a Timney trigger.
Timney says "minor inletting required" but they don't tell you where... so I will
Once your trigger is installed on the action, flip the stock upside down on your work bench.
See the hole that the trigger comes through? Make it about 1/8 of an inch bigger in front and back.
Work slowly and check often.
Clearing the rear part is the obvious part, but I didn't think that I'd have to remove any from the front (the screw/nut on the front of the trigger assembly keeps the back of the receiver from sitting flush in the stock if you don't remove wood from the front).
I got it out to the range after inletting for the new trigger. My groups are exactly the same, but the trigger feels 100x better.
