I came across some odd looking, presumed to be old .308 cartridges about a year ago. I'm going to try and find it in one of my bins because the "FAT" headstamp sounds familiar.
I wonder wat one of those 30-80 cartridge boxes goes for?

Nice read, i was always under the impression that "While the military trials were still in progress, Winchester introduced the cartridge to the sporting public as the 308 Winchester."
