Was trying to find a way to consolidate the ballistics info for my custom Ruger Charger last week so i could put it on the gun somewhere (I prefer Butler Creek scope cap covers). I'm using the Pride Fowler Industries 3-9x 22 Long Rifle Rapid Reticle that gives me 20 MOA compensation with reticle to the lowest stadia. From 200-400 the trajectory increases ~2 MOA every 10 yds., and from 400-500 it increases ~2.5 MOA. Windage increases consistently at .25 MOA every 10 yds. right out the muzzle. All this running Blazers at 1250 or so. I thought this was kinda' interesting and easy to remember.

I took my MR Picuda out a couple days ago and nailed a big plastic vitamin bottle (maybe an inch wider than a coke can) at 300 yds. on the 6th shot using 40 MOA total with a 50-yd. zero. Worked just right. This using Fed. Value-Pack, 36 gr. at 1200 mv.

Re: Interesting LR Ballistics

That is one hell of a nice rig there! The scope is interesting and must work well. Hitting a plastic jar at 300 yards with the .22LR is impressive with a rifle, let alone the Ruger Charger with that shorter barrel. Better than I could do, good job.
