DPMS just came out with some new rifles!
The new TPR rifle. I really like this new rifle idea, but why the 20" 1:9 twist barrel??? I would think this rifle would be perfect with a 1:8 twist. Correct me if I'm wrong. What do you guys think? LINK: TPR
The new 3G2 rifle. I actually own the 3G1 and it is f@#king awesome! I'm not sure what to think about the 3G2 though. About the only thing I like about the new 3G2 is the handguard and the buttstock. They actually shortened the barrel on the 3G2 to 16", put in a more crappy dpms trigger, and changed the twist rate to 1:9 (yeah, might be somewhat better for 3-gun?)..... IMO, I think the 3G1 actually has better raw specs with the jp trigger, 18" stainless barrel in 1:8 twist, but then again I'm a sucker for 18" barrels in 1:8 twist. Regardless, I like the look of the new 3G2. LINK: DPMS 3G2
Pic of my 3G1, 18" stainless barrel 1:8 twist, single stage JP trigger (trigger is absolutely amazing), Miculek Compensator (comes stock this way)... I want to say I paid $1200ish (loads of nice stock specs for $1200 dollars!) for this rifle about 1month before sandy went down??? Anyway, sporting a Vortex PST 1-4 scope with capped turrets and vortex 2"offset mount. Next pic is 10shots @ 100yards with this same rifle. Easy sub-moa rifle and not too bad for a 1-4 power scope at 100yards!!:
