Greetings Gentlemen,
I just joined this forum. I recently decided to take up the discipline of long range marksmanship. A little about myself: Once upon a time I was a stud 11B in the United States Army, sadly a severe joint injury forced me to take a pogue job in the National Guard. I am a full time Texas Peace Officer for a living. I shoot competition pistol. My time in the infantry I always wanted to become a member of Scout Platoon but never got the oppurtunity so I am seeking out the knowledge of distance shooting myself. I just purchased what I feel is a good basic entry level rifle. (Remington 700 SPS Tactical .308 mated with Leupold Mark AR Glass) I look forward to gaining a working understanding and travel the road to master this fine and time honored tradition of the American Marksman. I will endevor to learn as much on my own but would appreciate any help along the way.
