Rifle Scopes IOR 2.5-12x32 opinions

Theres only three threads on this scope, here on the Hide, which kinda suprised me. Anyone have anything new to say or offer about it. I would be mounting it on a 18inch spr type upper in 6.5LBC, I do like the IOR 2.5x12x35 Spartan but they are cammed for 223 and 308 unfortunately.

I'd get a 2.5-10 IOR FFP, 2.5-10 nightforce, or 10X USO instead. M3 leupie might be an idea too but some people hate the 1MOA clicks.

the 2.5x10 FFP IOR is the sh**. very clear glass, and awesome retical.

I have to agree that 2.5-10x42 illuminated MP-8 is just about perfect. Now same scope in 4-14 would be great too but in that power range you can't get the Hide MP-8 or what they call the A5 version of the MP-8. Maybe that upcoming 4-16x50 30mm tube Scott told us about from SHOT will remedty that missing offering.

I recently purchased an IOR 2.5x10x32 because I have never owned a scope with a BDC and I wanted to try one. Scientific huh? Anyway, the scope is here and I think some advice that I found somewhere here concerning BDC's applies to me. Mount it and take it out and shoot. Learn the scope along with the rifle. The BDC will become less of an impediment and more flexible than people think.

I really like the power range of the 2-12 Spartan, but the ginormous 35mm tube makes it pointless.

I just bought a Spartan and put it on a 308 POF. Very happy with this scope. The turret is right on out to 400 yards, gonna try and get to a range tomorrow to get out to 800yds. Am using handloads with 168 Amax loaed to around 2500 fps.
