Therein lies the IOR rub in my experience...
BUT-they have come a long, long way in a relatively short time lately-both in quality and CS so I hope they keep up the good work.
If anyone has IOR purchase quandries I'd highly suggest talking to Liberty Optics. Scott's a straigth shooter and will let you what his experience has been with different models. </div></div>
IOR has come a long way. I have talked to Val a number of times and he appreciates feedback and suggestions.
FWIW, I have 2 of the 3.5-18X50's, one mounted on a 7WSM and the other on a 260 REM. Only a couple hundred rounds through each one but they behave as they should and the optics are really first rate. One can always find a criticism about some aspect of any scope, but you would be hard pressed to find a better scope for even $500 to $700 more at retail. My other scopes are Premiers and Hensoldts. They are great scopes. But they are 75% to 100% more expensive, and they are in no way the same percentages better, and in some aspects are near equals. This of course as long as they are mechanically reliable over time, the concern expressed by others. Value for value, the IOR stands out IMO.
And yes, Scott is the only go to guy for anything IOR, a good guy and first rate retailer.
