Rifle Scopes IOR Valdada CQB reticule WTF???

Ok I have been researching the CQB reticle from IOR and well I am completely confused.

I am trying to figure out the measurements of the CQB reticule but there is no consistency. I have read the reticule ranging is based in yards and then another place meters and then even another that just gave a number....like 800, as if they didn't even know.

Then I read that the middle part of the reticule is in MOA and the ranging hash marks are in mil. But then some places just say either all MOA or MIL. Zero consistency.

Does anyone have a measurement breakdown of what the reticule actually is?

I am guessing that you are talking about the CQB-BDC Reticle?

If so the numbers are for yards based on the BDC for a certain round.

Our best selling close quarters reticule. Line thickness is .5 moa @ 100yds on 8 power. Dot diameter is 1.5 moa, inside horseshoe is 10 moa, outside horseshoe is 16 moa. Reticule designed with a 62gr fmj 5.56 nato for holdover, but it works well with 147gr-155gr .308's as well. Tick marks represent 21" shoulders and taper to 800 yds for quick ranging. Red illumination.

CQB-BDC Reticle is in yards for the BDC.

M-Series CQB has hash marks in one mil increments.

Like I said information varies from site to site. Actually, I would like to see a measurement chart for the reticule.

So if the the measurements are all in MOA then how does it range in meters?

Valdada.com states "At the same time, the new elevation knob has a .308 BDC 168 gr. bullet cam to 800 yds"

But another sites and you state "but it works well with 147gr-155gr .308's as well"

I have also read exactly what you posted on another site as well. Maybe I am spending too much time researching the reticule but you would figure there would be some consistency on it.

As he stated, the reticle holdovers are intended for the 62 grain green tip round but work well with the 147-155 .308 loads, the cam is set up for the 168 grain .308 loads.

Edited because I fat fingered the hell out of it.
