Have you wanted to shoot long range, but, are lost in all the information to get started? It can be intimidating. This 2 day class shows you the base knowledge to get you started in long range shooting. We'll break down all the parts so you get a clear understanding to get started. This class will put you in the right direction for long range success and have you ready for your first long range shooting class on the range.
What we are looking for in the gear.
(Rifle, scope, stock/chassis, bipod, rear bag, ammunition, caliber selection, observation devices)
What the fundamentals are.
(body position, addressing the rifle, sight picture, sight alignment, trigger control, follow through)
The base information in Ballistics
(how to dope your rifle, how to setup a ballistic program, how temp/pressure/humidity effect the bullet flight path and when to worry about them)
How do we call wind
(what to look for, how we look for it, using a wind rose, turning wind speed into an actual wind hold value)
This class is a solid base so you know what direction you need to go to get started.
