it flew under the radar but it also goes against the rules of the forum... so it went Poof !
We are pretty clear about doing business on here, it's not like it's something we hide.
I am guilty I did not contact a mod before hand

No need I made a list already. I'm gonna just try and become a paid sponsor so this def won't happen again lol.
I don't have a problem with it if someone is not out to make money on the deal...we are all here to help one another....I think the Mod should make exceptions, or put a permanent thread for parts building if a member here has a particular talent and is willing to share...not just "for sale"....
I do not have a business and I'm not in this for the money. I do it for the same reason why anyone would take part in it, to save money, get something that's not available, or both. I cant swing the vendor fees here but I have everyones contact info, either way I'm gonna get them as I'm committed anyway with the machinist.

i hate to see the nice piece(s) you were putting together get lost in the shuffle, they appeared to be a great addition and alternative BM for anyone's CZ.
i really believe there was nothing hinky about your post, i think it turned from one of those "is there any interest" to a full blown ordering frenzy, of which i too am guilty of being a part of interest in ordering one. though i can see if one exception is made, everyone would want one and can take advantage of a situation on purpose. just something innocent, that like many posts, turns 180 into something not intended.
would it be out of line to post them in the WTS section?

Every single day One Man Shops ask for Exceptions,
Everything from Rifle Painters, to Nylon, to One off parts... it's not fair to the companies that do pay and minimizes the value of the site.
As it is for the amount of volume and traffic this site has we are way undervalued when you consider current market rates.
We try our best to be fair and understand there are a lot of small shops out there, but we just can cut our throats in order to help all the one offs that ask.
It's not personal, it's just business.

If I could afford or had a business id be all over being a vendor here. I truly started the thread to see if there was any interest just like the lilja group buy. I'm just happy I didn't get the ban hammer from it lol. The guards won't be lost as I'm gonna do it no matter what cause I want 2 myself. I know they won't be hard to get rid of.
I believe so. Anything that looks like business requires it. Like it was already said, it's the best place for the money to advertise if you're in this business. What gets me is how I see guys post on here clearly that they have shops doing work for their customers, and no one says anything to those free loaders. They make indirect comment that let everyone know they work for money. I use to be a vendor here the whole time I was a business, and I understand the vendors and mods being bothered by this.
Don't mean to cut in to your idea but since I'm not sure becoming a paid sponsor is worth doing this and it sure would be nice to get this you can always speak to your contact and have him agree to us contacting him on your behalf of course. Just a thought. Hope this works out and you have my support anyway you need. Olive
My contact will not ship to each and everyone or honor a quantity price either in that way. He wants to be paid in one shot and send it to one place. If I could I would have him ship to everyone like I did in the lilja group buy as its less work for me.
Commandant, Don't mean to be ignorant but was the thread removed because it was posted in the wrong "Section" or individuals are not allowed to do "Group Buys". I read the rules again and though I noticed a few that I might have overlooked, like "New Member Introduction" I did not read anything about "Group Buys". The only thing I can see is the "Group Buy" section heading.......Forum: Snipers Hide PX : Group Buys
This section is dedicated to "group buys" supporting both individual & commercial "group buys". All sales and purchases are at the risks of the individuals involved.
