Does my ejector look split in half to anyone else? This is out of my .308 lmt mws that has been shooting great. However I noticed this today after getting home from the range.

I haven't contacted lmt yet, but I hate to do so with the rifle shooting as well as it is. No ejector related issues to speak of, but today I did get a pmag that caused a couple jams. The follower was nosediving causing the bolt to ram the round either to the bottom side of the feed ramp or it caused one to hit the top of the receiver by the gas tube. I am thinking these failures could have caused the split.

ETA: Rounds looked like this after causing the hang up.

No, looks the same as mine. The small chamfer looks like it is designed to direct the spent case out of the chamber as it forms an angle. Not sure how the large one plays into this. I asked another guy who had ejection problems if his was timed right but I dont think he looked at it.

I doubt it has anything to do with your nose deformation problem.

Thanks for the replies.

I guess I am used to looking at regular ar15 round ejectors and this one threw me off. I am glad to know all is good.
