Is the turdeau finally going to flush?

Maybe because it's NBC, but as I read it, the cast of characters listed as "most likely" to be his replacement were all Liberals, but one of the reasons he is stepping down is because the voter support for Liberals has fallen to just 16%? I didn't see a Conservative candidate mentioned (or maybe I missed it). With only a 16% approval for Liberals, wouldn't a Conservative candidate be a more-likely replacement?

He is the head of the libtard party kinda like our democratic party. So he will be replaced by a libtard. @Sean the Nailer ?

like biden, the damage done may be unrepairable. will be interesting to see what he does in final days. if he were to be replaced by a conservative (LOL) then he would likely go scorched earth like biden is doing. giving trump enough to do to fix damage done since 11/7. getting a new plan in place gonna take much more time.
OT but look what milei has done in argentina. fired 34K useless gov drones, closed 18 gov agencies. the economy is turning around, and fast. don't think trump can do that without repealing civil service act. uniparty won't do that.

Their election will happen this fall. There is nothing in Canada like our Conservative party, any branch you want to think of. They are simply less liberal than the Liberal party. US-style conservatism does not exist there, not in a party of any size, and certainly not the Progressive Conservative party as it was known. They were instrumental in creation of the Canadian medicare system, universal child care, gun restrictions, etc. The Canadian conservatives are most like moderate Democrats.

I wasn't aware there were so many Canadians here...

He got parliament shut down until the liberals can choose a leader to replace him. They will pick someone that pretends that they had nothing to do with the liberal government destroying Canada. If voter’s believe it, nothing will change. If they don’t there may be some small changes. Either way, the Canadian government will do whatever they want for 3 months without even pretending to be accountable. Most Canadian voters will happily gargle 🐔if they are told to by
social media and the TV. They like to pretend different, but remember 2021?

Accurately stated. The LIEberal party is made-up of LIEberals. When one steps down (or is outed) then another steps in. It is not a 'change of party', it is only a change of leadership.

And I use that term loosely. VERY loosely.

All that is happening, is that the LIEberals are changing face, and hoping that the IDIOT MEMBERS OF SOCIETY (and I use that term loosely, too) will vote for them again in the next forced election.

The same as it ever was.....
You mean its The Whos Meet the new boss, same as the old boss?

I am very happy to hear that Fidel Castro Jr will no longer be fagging up his country anymore. Hopefully, like most everywhere else in the world - the citizens now finally understand the damage inflicted through the woke bullshit.

But only time will tell.

So, he’s stepping down BEFORE any election, and will be replaced with an interim PM from his Party, until the next election? Which they then hope they can steal, I mean “win”?

Yes, I’m aware of that, which is why I used capital letters for Conservative and Liberal - to denote the Party name and not the ideology. What I meant was that the article said that the Liberals (party) only had 16% voter support, but all the listed candidates expected as likely replacements are also Liberal party. But I was thinking they would have a forced election if he resigns. I think Sean explained that he will step down well in advance of the election, and will be replaced by another in his Party (because they’re the Party in power until the next election). That would explain what I wasn’t understanding.
