Is there a good chrono available that works at range?

Hi Team,
I have an issue with my Caldwell light chrono not reading velocity at 200 meters… works at 100 though. I was wondering if there were any options that are portable (unlike silver mountain) that can read bullet velocity at range. Garmin is a nice idea but don’t know if it will pick up a shot at say 600… and Caldwell velociradar looks like it never coming. Anyone got any ideas here? Thanks guys?

There’s no way the local range would allow me to set that up nor would I have time! What about shooting over the top of the garmin? Anyone done it?

Garmin can do it I believe. Shoot at it with your own risks lol.

It's been done, is mention of it in one of the larger Xero threads in the Armory sub-forum. Unless you can protect it, it is a target like anything downrange.
