The BMG isn't really a Sporting Arms cartridge, it's a military MG round.
Arguably, I find it a very sporting cartridge, just a bit expensive to shoot.

That would make sense as to why there is no SAAMI drawing, the problem Im seeing is that the CIP and the Browning drawing are different, significantly enough to cause a chambering issue.Hi,
I am pretty sure it has NEVER been a SAAMI listed cartridge, everyone has always used CIP for it when discussing "standard".
