Rifle Scopes Isniper911 Scope

I am reading Stephen Hunter's book Sniper. In his book he mentions most of the top name rifles and scopes. He mentions S&B, Nightforce, Leupold and a few of these scopes.

The best one he says is Isniper911 Ref page 117. Has anyone heard of this scope or is it fictional

Not sure as he is dead on with everything else he mentions

Isniper911 are Counter Sniper scopes made by Dark Ops, Inc. They use Obtanium in the production of the scope and it has a reticle inside the reticle. Stephen Hunter knows what he is talking about. You can pick up a contract overun once in a while.

Look in the appendix-- the author sort of took some liberties.

Its Fictional ... although I do like shanksters post.

Maybe in a few more years

Right now exists riflescopes with range finders in them and at least one other scope with a electronic screen that when manipulated moves a red dot in the field of view for the correct distance but none that I know of that combines everything,such as environmental sensing,range finder and ballistic programs all together.

The Horus reticle system does works well as described in the book.

Why you asking anyways ? If Bobby Lee can make a 500+ yard shot offhand in a split second and hit Mr Ando using the isniper so can anybody,right ?,LOL.If only Bobby had that fancy Counter Sniper double mildot reticle he'd no doubt had hit Ando centered

I'm reading this book and googled the scope and this is the first page that came up LOL.

I have to say, the way of the future, it won't be long before this scope actually <span style="font-weight: bold"><span style="font-style: italic">does</span></span> exist.

It's the code name for the new Nightforce "beast" scope.
