Gunsmithing ISO 16” rifle length gas 7.62 barrel

Morning!

I am looking to lean on some experience here.

I am trying to source a 16” rifle length gas barrel for an ar10 chambered in 7.62 and a 1:10 twist. I realize craddock etc can spin up nearly anything but I’m not looking for a $700 barrel.

My research has only turned up the rainier arms ultramatch mod 2. I would pair this with either an LMT BCG or JP FMOS

I feel like there has to be more options.

Additionally I am looking for some guidance as to gas port dimensions for 7.62

Another option is grabbing any ar10 barrel with a rifle length gas and chopping it to 16. I've done this a handful of times. Never had to open up gas ports on the ones I did either, though I'm sure it could be needed on some.

I’ve thought of that as well. If I can’t track down what I’m looking for I might do that
