If Desert tech would still offer these or make them available it would be great. Kind of chicken shit to talk of how modular their rifles are but not provide one of the most desireable parts. I’ve been looking for a while now. Found used one on Gunbroker a while back. Hope you find one.

Might want to call DT before you go bad mouthing them, they don't list them on the site but they have the kits ready to go if you call. $515 shipped for the handguard and removal tool kit as of yesterday. I think they have it to where you need to call them so they can verify which version rifle you have instead of just ordering the wrong stuff and fumbling with returns.
Shit i had no idea. Looked all over on their website. Wonder if they sell just the handgaurd? Have the tool already.

My bad. That used to have them on the site and then they took them off. I just assumed they quit offering them since there are guys on here weekly looking for them. I own 3 of their A1s so I obviously dont have too much of an issue with DT.

I understand, I have no idea why they removed them from the website. I just figured I'd call to see what they said. Maybe they had several returns given the different handguard attachment methods?...
