I want to set up an arca rail that can hold a spotter, LRF, and who knows what else. I dont want to pay $300+ for one RRS has. I see a bunch on amazon for $15 to $50 but dont know what is needed to attach arca clamps to it. Any help is appreciated.
I got it figured out what I want. I'm going to leave this thread up so others can learn from it.

You need to figure out the width needed, but I just did something similar.

I attached a Manfrotto style rail to the bottom of it in the center since I am using a pistol grip knock off.

Used this:
and this:
for a CON X LRF

I used these two to be able to hold a phone on the end:

I'm using binoculars instead of a spotter:

Should give you an idea of whats needed.

i got this cheapish one, with a clamp on one end already. cheap geared head for ranging small targets.
you could bolt more arca clamps onto it.

I run these on a ballhead. Spotter on a arca plate on the clamp. SIG3000BDX bino LRFs on the mini ballhead held with the RRS polymer clinch. Set the ballhead to target the spotter and cowitness the binos with the mini ballhead.

Here is the setup I have. Bought the rail from Doug@CameralandNY. It is a Field Optics Research product and came with the outboard mounted ARCA clamps for the base product. Added plates to Spotting Scope, LRF and Kestrel. The center clamp is a MPA Rat clamp I had in the shop. Made a base to mount it to the rail. Rail Attached to my Siri ball head. The handle to left of ball head is the handle that came with my tripod bowl that I rigged on to give a little better control of the platform. I would like to get a small gimble/ballhead to mount the LRF to for a little more compactness. Currently the LRF and spotter can be co-witnessed and I can scan targets easily with the ballhead mount Everything breaks down and fits in my pack. Can be setup in just a couple of minutes. I can pull the ballhead and/or optics off the tripod and use as support for rifle with ease. Was fun pulling some things together that I had sitting around then adding a few inexpensive parts and creating something that works for me.
