Issues/questions with Timney Trigger for CZ 455

Several months ago I purchased and installed a new Timney trigger for CZ 455. It was gritty and heavy. The service team was able to help me with adjusting the trigger down to nearly 2lbs.

The trigger is still gritty
The trigger sometimes doesn't act as a bolt stop

Any ideas, thoughts, suggestions?

Thanks

Try cleaning it with a spray solvent and then apply a little trigger slick which is a moly-graphite grease. Use it sparingly and apply to the sear only. The factory 455 trigger will also fail to stop the bolt if adjusted down too far in the 455. I have a Timney calvin elite in a Rem 700 that is flawless and breaks at about 1/2 lb. I know they are different designs but usually Timney is very high quality. If it continues to not meet your expectations send it back to Timney and ask them to fix or adjust it.
