I ordered a rifle directly from DPMS for a customer in late February of 2010 and was told it would be 45-60 days out. At about day 50 I called to inquire regarding the status of this order and was told in no uncertain terms that I was never told 45-60 days that nobody would have ever told me that. Their guns were more like 3-4 months out. Not much I could do except explain to the customer what DPMS told me. About the 1st of August I called again as it was now nearing the 4 month timeline and was told that nope, all guns were closer to 6 months out and that nobody at HQ would have dared told me anything else. Long story short, I received and transferred the gun to the customer on Sep11. We mounted a NF 5.5-22X50 on this and couldn't make it group an 8" group at 100 yards. Checked everything we knew, changed scopes etc... with no improvement. After contacting DPMS they indicated that it could be a bad barrel and we would need to send the gun back with all the pertinent data. This was done about the 1st of Oct and we cannot get any response from them whatsoever. No answer to email, no phone call return, no nothing. The only way I even know they have the gun is via sig required registered mail. I have never seen a company with such blatant disregard for customer service. Anybody have any better experiences with them or have any advice on who to contact or how to go about getting a response from DPMS?
