I don't know what I am doing wrong trying to use their 6.5 dies in my 6.5 CM but I have broken at least 10 or more de-capping pins trying to de-prime my Lapua small pocket cases. I don't have any issues with my Redding bushing neck dies but can't figure out my issues with the Forrester. ( I purchased a new stem thinking my original was not stright but that didn't solve the issue either.) Any ideas?

I have the Forster dies and the decapping pins I have for them measure .061" and with my Lapua small rifle primer pockets, they do run a little tighter than with other brass of mine (like Peterson's). I run my dies in a Forster Co-Ax press and have had no problems with decapping any of my Lapua or other brass. Me thinks there might be a small alignment issue the way the Forester dies fit in you particular press???

Take your decapping pin and take some of your cases and see if the pins fit. Flash holes could be tight. That might be your issue. I had some Hirtenberg 308 cases the had flash holes that were too small.

Don't shoot the nitpicking messenger... but its FORSTER.... spoken --> "4-stir"

I apparently didn't order the shorter small pocket pins last time. (I think I did!) Will order the special ones tonight but am pretty certain I will have issues as I broke off 5 of them before. I think I just need to follow everyone's suggestions and use a different die to de-prime.
