Rifle Scopes issues with my scope......?????

I traded for a leupold Mark 4 with a fellow hide member but after getting the scope it reads Vari-x III Long Range 3.5-10x40mm. It has the M3 knobs(MOA and yards Marked on turret with no cover). The issue is that the direction for 100-200-300 ect. is the wrong way on the cams for this scope. Is there a difference between this scope and the Mark 4 as far as elevation direction? Maybe the cams I have are for the wrong scope. Ser.# doesn't look life the China knock offs. Pretty sure she's a real leupold. Any advice would be great,

that is a older scope. Ive got one just like it.

ya, it looks just like a mark 4. you had any issues with your turrets? I'm going to call leupold in the morning and see what they say about the turrets and order some more I guess.....

That one might be glued together by Leupold.

the scope is good to go. Leupold still makes the backwards turrets.

Older exposed turret M3's were CW, newer are CCW.

Good info to know. Glad that it's something simple. Just couldn't figure out what the hang up was.

are those considered as Mark 4 as well ? ( just older generation)
