The last of the vaccine mandates are gone now even from New York City and other bitter clinging leftist enclaves. I bet i have forgotten half the bs we went through. I remember bright colored hair people kicking me out of businesses for not wearing a mask, as people ate without a mask a few feet from me. You know, it can only get you when standing, not sitting down. "Sir, we are just complying" lol
One time, during the height of that, I was wearing a mask but left my nose free because my glasses would fog up. (Sometimes, fitting in the with the crowd suits my purposes.) I was in a grocery store and another shopper told me I was wearing the mask the wrong way.
I told him I was waiting.
"Waiting for what?"
"Waiting for the three guys my size to get me out of here because that is what it would take."
He left me alone and walked on.
Another grocery store had directional arrows and you were to walk down the aisle only in that direction. The store manager, whom I knew (my wife used to work there,) was cautioning me to walk only in the direction of the arrows.
No one did.
As for masks, the do not stop anything. They slow down a germ and certainly prevent spraying people with your droplets. But they don't stop COVID.

Local hardware store where I bought most of my shop supplies... in the first few weeks of the 'Plandemic" the lefty cunt co-owner bitched at me for not wearing a mask. I told her I didn't wear masks. Didn't even own one.
Her response was "My store my rules."
I left my 'stuff' on the counter and walked out. Did about $5,000 a month, on account, with that place for everyting from paint to farm supplies to nuts, bolts and washers to birdseed. Great store. Stocked everything. And I loved keeping things 'local' vs ordering from an MRO catalog. Instead, started driving 8 miles one way or the other to similar stores next towns over. Not as good. But 'close enough.'
That kind of money is 'real' to an Ace franchise. Then again, as soon as SHTF all the douche bags moved in, started to refurb their homes, build new McMansions with escape pods and bug out vehicle. So their store business probably exploded and my 'leaving' had no effect other than inconvenience me and cost me in travel. But I'm not being talked to that way by some lefty cunt and I am NOT going to give them another penny ever. And when her vaxxed ass dies a horrible death I will piss on her grave with great relish and irony!

Our awesome state did covid passports for eating at restaurants. Still won't ever go back to the ones that kicked us out. "Just doing our job" however my favorite Mexican place published an op-ed refusing to comply. Still eat there regularly.

My boss had the corona virus three times and recovered in a few days, three times and never got the shot. They wanted to fire him for the entire year, they wanted us to wear masks all fucking day at work and we work ALONE. Each guy on shift is in a separate building from every other guy, no one in contact with anyone else. Alone, spaying Lysol on ourselves and sitting in a room wearing a mask....................fucking absolute idiots.
Then after 12 months and a monstrous about of overtime, many guys doubled their annual salary, they fucking decided to stop paying OT and holiday pay because they felt we should be working for the community and taking far less pay. Then they decided they would take away vacation from guys who had gone a year or more with no time off because they were past the vacation cap. We won every lawsuit and got it all back.
Hoax is/was/will always be an understatement.
And now on to the 2024 election and the surprise victory of a demented 82 year old pedophile and the 100,000,000 people who will vote for him without going to a polling place or mailing in a ballot. Again...................................................
