I finally found a gun that will fit in this holster that I bought when I was a teenager!
Holster is a 1920’s Heiser, Denver. And I have been dutifully keeping it oiled all these years. Finally, the right gun came along…
And the gun is a 1970’s Python with some holster wear… and new mechanical condition. I mean… perfect. Was in bottom of a case at my LGS that specializes in Lego guns and Tupperware. For a song!
I need a nice set of original wood grips, but they are all over Gunbroker. I’d love a set of Ropers, but they are insanely spendy. Well, maybe in another 40 years I’ll find a set.
Finally, two birds with one stone! This is the smoothest revolver I ever handled, I think!
