Everyone wants to blame "communists" for modern censorship while conveniently ignoring that such efforts are based upon the past few decades of mainstream conservative principles - namely that which states that security from terrorism is more important than God-given rights and that Israel is so important that it most be protected from any criticism (even that which may be valid). I'm not trying to poke anyone specific in the eye but rather get people to understand root causes - anything shy of this is just tilting at windmills.
