Not sure if this is the right area i should post in, or even the right forum, but i know there's alot of gun-nuts here and some of you will probably know...

I am buying a glock 19 today and looking at getting my CCW real soon. I have been looking around a bit at IWB holsters, alot of them seem great, but here's the thing...I'm a 6'1" 260lb guy. My concern is...are there any IWB holsters that would feel more comfortable for an overweight guy? I'm just worried that since bc I am overweight, will an IWB holster get in the way? If any of you out there have any suggestions (besides lose weight lol) for any particular brand/type of holster?

Thanks!

I've got the Galco NSA 2. Wear it strong side, IWB, just behind the hip. You could also wear it SOB (small of back). I'll venture that you MIGHT have some room there??? Awesome concealability, comfortable, stylish and secure.

Standby for a review but this guy is a cop and a trainer. He makes one of the best IWB holsters I have ever used. Been using one of his for a Glock 19 for almost a year and one for a Kahr CW9 for a few weeks. Guys at my department have them for various weapons and everyone like them.

bingo! and if you go to crossbreedseconds.com you can find one that someone returned and buy it cheap. I just picked one up for $40 with horsehide.

I love the supertuck horsehide.

Crossbreed and Blade Tech are the best I've found. The comptac isn't bad either but I like the other two options best. For blade tech I like the regular "pull the dot" style rubber loops instead of the blocky plastic thing. I'm pretty sure midway stocks the blade tech for like $40 or $50.

All of these previously stated holdsters I've heard good reviews about but IMO and for the money Uncle Mikes makes a simple lined soft material IWB holster. Size 15 hold the 19,23,36, etc. sized glocks with good hold and very confy in a strong side @ 4-5 o'clock. Cost around $15
