This thread is strictly to discuss the design of the JAE 700 stock, and how it fits the recoil lug specifically.
This thread is not about:
1) Vaporware
2) Wait times
3) Bacon
Its my understanding that the JAE 700 stock is installed to the receiver by tightening 2 screws to 65 inch pounds. These screw holes in the stock are oblong, which allow for you to slide your receiver rearward in the stock until the recoil lug makes contact with the inside of the JAE stock which allow for a custom fit for your rifle.
Are two screws set to 65 inch pounds sufficient to keep the receiver in place and the recoil lug fit snug against the stock?
Here is a look at the long action vs short action.
