Gunsmithing Jewell trigger and a B&C

Maybe my searching skills lack and the info is already out there; apologize if that is so.

Does anyone know if a Jewell (bottom release, top safety) will work in a Bell and Carlson M40 stock without any inletting? (It is a Rem 700, S/A if it matters.)

Should have no issues what so ever with the stock. Your triggerguard pending manufacture may need adjusted.
