I have an AR-15 with a Jewell trigger. I do not shoot it much, but I was thinking about pulling it out of the back of the safe and taking it to the range. The trigger was a gift and I have not done anything beyond a few trips to the range. Is there anything I should know about care and cleaning? I honestly have put less than a hundred rounds through this rifle. The barrel is so big (fat) that the heat shields in the original A2 grips had to be removed. It only necked down for the gas block; free-floating helped this out, but it still weighs much more than you would think. It is much easier to bang around a "duty" type AR than this fatty.
