I have never seen or heard anything like that. Maybe if the person shooting them didnt have a fast enough twist but thats not the bullets fault.

Re: jlk bullets

JLK's are GREAT, they are like shooting a missle. I emailed Swamppy today. If you want bullets you need to order NOW, He is ordering jackets December 1st. I shoot his 180 VLD .284 in my 7WSM, it rocks and his prices are very competetive with other premium match bullets.

Brian Litz's testing showed their 140's BC to be highest of all the mainstream offerings. It was nearly 0.1 (G1) higher than the 139 Scenar.

You can compare them to others in JBM.

Re: jlk bullets

I've shot the 175, 180 and 180 LBT in my 30-06, they were all very good.

I have not shot the 6.5's, but the 6's worked nicely in my 6-223 as well.

He runs them in batches, the last batch of 30 cals he did were finished around June I think and most of them went to pre-orders as I was told.

Cust. Svc is excellent and the guy will do his best to help you out. I would suggest calling them, he'll sell you a handful for testing purposes if you ask. I got 30 of the 175's and the 180 LBT's and some advice on how to load them all in a 5 minute phone call.
