Looking for a MKIII barrel nut assembly for a DPMS AR10/JP LRP-07 Style upper receiver. I bought the style for an AR15 accidentally and looking if anyone has just the nut assembly lying around before I buy a whole new handguard.
Additionally if anyone has a full assembly for the DPMS/JP AR10 and would be interested in trading for an AR15 assembly I’d add some cash on top. Mine is the 15.5” rapid config model. Thanks guys (And the few gals on here)!

Are ar10 upper parts interchangeable with ar15 parts? If the barrel nut assembly is different would the hand guard be different too?
i know the trigger and the buffer tube is compatible but i didn’t think the hand guard assembly was.
Just checking to see what my options are for my ar10 build out.
thanks!

The actual handguard tube is interchangeable, but the barrel nut assembly (which the handguard tube screws onto) is different on account of the different barrel extension sizes between the ar15 and LR-308 models. This is specific to the JP handguard.

In general many of the parts are not interchangeable between milspec AR15 and either DPMS or KAC pattern AR10s. In fact off the top of my head only trigger groups, safety assemblies, and in some versions the charging handle and buffer tubes may be interchangeable. Having built both AR-15s and AR-10s, AR-10s are much more finicky with parts combinations from different manufacturers. Best bet is to buy a receiver set/bcg/handguard from a reputable company so you know all the parts will interact well
