Rifle Scopes JP Scope mount.

I've placed my order and I'm waiting for my Razor hd 4.5-27 ebr-7c to arrive. I'm mounting it on top of a 6.5 grendel JP ar. Planning on going wit the JP mount. I assume I should go ahead and get a 20 moa mount?

Check out the mount from MPA before you pull the trigger. I am a JP fan, and shoot a lot of their stuff, but Phil and the crew at MPA are good guys also. Also, if the razor has a 34mm tube, I don’t think you will need a 20* mount. The Grendel will run out of gas before you run out of clicks. Just my opinion, I’m sure someone will counter.

I love my JP mount. Have both the Razor 4.5-27 and a Trijicon 4.5-30 in 20 moa mounts. I figured I might as well get them to be sure with sunshades or whatever.

Thanks, I didn't really think it would be needed for the Grendel but figured of I got the 20 most now then I'd be good to go if I switch the scope and mount to something else.

That is very true. Sometimes you can buy something now, that’s a little more than you need, but it will come in handy later.
