JP Silent Capture Spring - loose weights?

Please excuse my ignorance. I just picked up my first JP Silent Capture Spring and when I took it out of the package, I noticed that steel weights are a little loose on the weight carriage. There is a small gap between the snap ring that retains the weights, and the first weight which allows a little wiggle room between the weights and the rubber o rings between each weight.

Is this normal? It just feels a little rattly and I was expecting it to be more solid. Any feedback from JP SCS owners would be appreciated.

You can add orings between the weights to do stop the rattle. I believe the owners manual tells you the size

They're all like that. Doesn't effect anything. Non-issue

^ this. All mine are like that and function perfectly.

That's the way their supposed to be, same as the weights inside a standard Buffer, it's what creates the dead blow effect and helps mitigate bolt bounce.
