Rifle Scopes JPoint question

I'm looking into the JPoint flat top mount designed to use the JPoint in a stand alone configuration on an AR15 type platform. I'm just wondering if anyone knows if the mount is high enough to clear the front sight post of an AR15. I can't find any photo's or real rock solid information on the mount. Only that it will co-witness with the rear sight.

I'm not sure what you mean by "clear" the front sight. You will see the front sight unless the JPoint is several inches higher than the rail since it has such a wide field of view. Often, people set up a JPoint or Aimpoint red dot to "co-witness" with the front sight - meaning when the rifle is aimed at a target, both the red dot and the front sight are aligned on it. I've done this but I can't remember whether it was my Aimpoint M3LComp or a JPoint that was piggybacked on an ACOG.

Right, not so much "clear",as much as co-witness with the front sight post. I cant seem to find much on the Jpoint sight used in a "stand-alone" configuration on a rifle. That meaning not piggybacking an ACOG or being used as a secondary sight in general. But the link to the flattop mount I posted above shows the Jpoint being used by itself, but it does not show the front of the rifle. So I cant determine If they intended this sight to be able to operate with the front sight post.
