Just Turned 61

I might be old but I ain't dead yet. More good stuff to come: Kayaking, Moto Cross, Shooting, endless trips to the beach, hanging out with my cool wife, gym, tubing good food,many more mission trips to Haiti and such
I am grateful for all of it.

Way to go. Turned 62 in March and finished the Iron Horse Bicycle Classic in May in a time 3 minutes slower than my time from two years ago. Over 6600 ft of elevation going over two passes of 10,680 and 10,900, respectively. Ride the bike and lift weight regularly. Molas Pass 2017.jpg
 
Philosophically, I found 60 an interesting milestone. At 20 youre all balls and testosterone. At 40 youre ll tied up in family, work, and such. 60 was a wake up call. Since most male Americans top out around 80, it hit me..."Holy Shit, Johnson, anyway you look at it your trip on this rock is 3/4 over". That gave rise to some reflection.
