K&M match in May

I am considering making the haul from Sc to the K&M competition in May. What all can you guys tell me about the facility, the match itself and the area like where to stay and where not to. We may make it a long weekend and combine it with our anniversary. Any insight is well received.

Its the Augusta National of PRS. The facility is impeccable solid props, manicured grounds & facilities. Have a good set of knee pads, quite a few stages are on gravel. Most targets are on hangers & have backing so you will have good feedback. The main range can get soupy as the day goes on so luck of the draw when you get to shoot it. Not much in wind, don’t leave the plate. The match flow is great and course of fire will be very good. The match will be tight, don’t drop shots

Not many places to stay nearby. Henderson has a couple of shitty motels, avoid them. Stay at K&M if you can or probably get an AirBnb. If you are flying in Nashville is better than Memphis.

Well worth the trip. Its one I attend yearly. I shot the worst I ever have last year but was still happy to go.
