Rifle Scopes Kahles or ZCO upgrade

Did you notice any difference in mirage or CA?
The TT definitely cut mirage a hair better. Not some wild amount, but it was enough to notice. The ZCO and the Kahles handled mirage the exact same to my eyes. CA differences were negligible between all 3 of them in my eyes. I still stick to my original take that the Kahles is a brighter optic period than either of the other 2. The ZCO had a darker shade to its image and that does help a little in color separation I think. At least to my eyes.

Swarovski bought Kahles in 1974, blaming the distributor for a production issue would be silly.

  • 1935 First Swarovski binoculars, which was a 6×30
  • 1949 Formation of Swarovski Optik
  • 1959 First Swarovski Optik rifle scope (4×32)
  • 1967 First Swarovski Optik extendable spotting scope (30×75)
  • 1974 Kahles was purchased by Swarovski Optik[3]
  • 1977 Kahles became a branch of Swarovski Optik[3]
  • 1989 Kahles Limited again became an independent company within the Swarovski group[3]
  • 1991 First AT 80 telescope
  • 1993 First hunting rifle scope with reticle illumination
  • 1995 First rifle scope with integrated laser range finder
  • 1999 First binoculars with wrap-around grip, named EL
  • 2007 First Swarovski rifle scope with 6× zoom
  • 2016 First Swarovski rifle scope with 8× zoom[4]
  • 2017 Kahles was again brought into the Swarovski advertising and sales programs[3]

I guess it depends on what the issue was.

Since the topic was customer service, if it's a customer service issue, different entities handling customer service would seem very relevant.

I just don’t understand why you’re making assumptions on that single post without asking what the issue was. Having a potentially defective scope falls on the manufacturer’s end to correct it. Kahles came to the US market in 2012 and hired HPS Optic/Jeff Huber to provide the distribution. Rancid was complaining about the “Gen 1” Kahles issues which was something the manufacturer needed to correct , Jeff worked with Kahles quickly to make corrections, upgrades and reticles to appeal to the US market. They parted ways around 2016-17 and HPS/JH started ZCO.
