Sure, why not, as long as it is still shooting. While you're at it, pick up a 6.5x47 and see what the shorter cartridge is all about.

I shoot both .243 and 6.5cm and like them both. I had my Steyr re-barreled in .243 as the mag and feed ramp doesn't work well with the shorter Creedmoor, 6xc or 47 cartridges. Having said that I shoot some local matches and performance is on par with the shorter cases. I am able to get 3015 FPS with 115DTAC and groups are 3/8 moa.
